CG News: CM Sai launches ‘e-Shram Sathi’ app for laborers, information about government schemes and employment will be available sitting at home

CG E-Shram Saathi App: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has launched a new mobile app named ‘e-Shram Sathi’ for the convenience of laborers. With the help of this app, now workers will not have to wander anywhere to get information about jobs and government schemes, rather they will be able to see all this while sitting at home. During a meeting held in Raipur, the Chief Minister launched this app and also instructed the officials to inspect the factories from time to time, so that the safety of the workers and their rights can be taken full care of.

‘Officials should ensure that the rules are followed properly’

Chief Minister Sai believes that government schemes are successful only when their benefits reach the poorest of the poor. For this, he has asked the field employees to work with full honesty. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, new rules have been made for the workers, which need to be strictly implemented. The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure that these rules are properly followed so that the workers can get a safe place to work, respect and better facilities.

Workers will get all the information in ‘e-Shram Sathi’ app

In this meeting, the functioning of the Labor Department, safety of workers and activities of different government boards were discussed. The government will now strengthen the labor offices of the districts and will also run training programs to make the workers aware. With the new ‘e-Shram Sathi’ app, workers will easily get information about employment and government schemes. According to officials, since 2008 till now, more than 33.14 lakh construction workers have been added to the government records.
