Big change in elugu Desam Party: Nara Lokesh becomes executive

Making a major organizational change in the politics of Andhra Pradesh, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has announced its new executive. Party chief and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu swore in the new team, with the most significant change being the appointment of his son Nara Lokesh as the party’s working president.

Amravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Wednesday formed its new executive committees. On this occasion, party chief and N. Chandrababu Naidu administered oath to the new teams and stressed on strengthening the organizational structure. In this reshuffle, his son and state IT Minister Nara Lokesh has been made the working president of the party, who will now handle the responsibility of further strengthening the organization.

During this, Naidu said that a balance has been created between experienced leaders and new faces in the new committees, so that the party can be further strengthened at the grassroots level. He also said that the principle of “cadre is the leader” has been taken forward by giving important posts to the workers in the organization, so that the party’s hold can be strengthened up to the booth level.

Nara Lokesh got big responsibility

After making Nara Lokesh the working president, he will now take the responsibility of strengthening the party organization at the grassroots level. The party leadership believes that Lokesh’s role will make the coordination between the organization and the government more effective. N. Chandrababu Naidu said that a balance of experienced leaders and new faces has been created in the new executive.

He said that the purpose of this change is to strengthen the organization not only at the top level but also down to the grassroots workers. The party has also reiterated the principle of “cadre is the leader”, giving more importance to the workers.

Organizational restructuring in several stages

The new executive of Telugu Desam Party has been formed after several rounds of deliberations. The party leadership says that in this process the experience of the old leaders has been respected, while the new generation has also been given an opportunity so that new energy can be brought into the organization. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said his government is rapidly implementing several welfare schemes and development projects in the state.

He said that special attention is being given to irrigation projects so that farmers can get water on time. Besides, big infrastructure projects of the state like Polavaram and Amaravati are also being progressed rapidly.

Special focus on Visakhapatnam Steel Plant

The Chief Minister also highlighted the strategy of the state government regarding Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He said that the government is working to make this important industrial unit profitable again and thereby strengthen the economic condition of the state. N. Chandrababu Naidu also said that the state government is carrying out reforms in the power sector so that there is no additional burden on the general public. The government aims to stabilize and, if possible, reduce electricity tariffs, thereby providing relief to both industrial growth and domestic consumers.
