New Delhi Rajasthan Royals registered a magnificent victory in the IPL 2026 match held on Tuesday, but after the victory, the team is embroiled in a new controversy. A video of team captain Riyan Parag is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which he is allegedly seen vaping in the dressing room.

This incident is said to have taken place when the team was celebrating its victory against Punjab Kings after achieving the target of 223 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel are also seen present along with Ryan Parag in the viral video.

After the video surfaced, a debate has erupted on social media. Some fans have called it indiscipline, while some people say that it would not be right to draw conclusions without official confirmation.

Violation of rules?

According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and IPL rules, smoking and vaping is completely prohibited in the dressing room and dugout. In such a situation, if the video is confirmed, it can be considered a violation of the rules.

Additionally, the use and sale of e-cigarettes and vaping devices is also banned in India under the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act 2019.
