‘If you don’t get gas, you will cook food on the stove’, the groom put a unique condition in front of the bride before Jaimala.
UP News: A unique marriage from Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh has become a topic of discussion these days. Amidst the scorching heat and shortage of cooking gas, a groom put such a condition just before the marriage, hearing which the people present at the spot were shocked for some time.
The case pertains to Khaira Biru village of Loni Katra police station area, where the groom Ashok, who lives there, had reached the house of the bride Lakshmi with his wedding procession. The wedding rituals were about to begin and Jaimal was waiting, when suddenly the groom made the atmosphere serious by raising a question.
Had gas problem before marriage
Actually, due to America-Iran war, Ashok had to face a lot of difficulties in getting domestic gas cylinder before marriage. Despite visiting the agency for several days and standing in long lines, he could not get the gas on time. This problem created a concern in his mind, which he expressed on the stage of marriage itself.
Just before Jaimal, the groom asked the bride Lakshmi if there was a shortage of gas in future, would she be ready to cook food on the stove. On hearing this question, the groom and the bridegroom present there started looking at each other’s faces. There was silence in the atmosphere for some time.
The bride gave a very intelligent answer
But the bride Lakshmi showed great understanding and spontaneity. She accepted the groom’s condition without any hesitation and said that if needed, she would not shy away from cooking food on the stove as well as working in the fields. His answer not only satisfied the groom but also won the hearts of everyone present there.
After the bride’s positive reply, the atmosphere became pleasant again and the wedding rituals were completed with much fanfare. All the traditional rituals were followed along with Jaimal and both of them took seven rounds and started a new life.
This unique marriage has now become a topic of discussion in the area. People are considering this as an interesting example of practical thinking and mutual understanding amidst changing times.
