BJP alleges EVM tampering during false voting in Bengal elections!

A case of EVM tampering has come to light during voting in Falta assembly constituency of West Bengal. Bharatiya Janata Party alleges that the party option button on the EVM was blocked, due to which voters were deprived of choosing their favorite candidate. BJP has appealed to the Election Commission to take cognizance of the incident.

BJP’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya shared several videos on social media platform ‘X’. In these videos the button in front of the BJP symbol was blocked. The person making the video was seen complaining to the election staff. He claimed that voting has been affected at room number two and booth 189 of the polling booth at Harindanga High School in Falta. Along with this, there are many other booths also.

Amit Malviya wrote in the post, “This is what Mamata Banerjee was defending when she raised her voice for Jahangir Khan. At many polling booths the option to vote for BJP has been blocked with tape, effectively depriving voters of choosing their preferred candidate.”

The BJP leader further wrote, “This is the so-called ‘Diamond Harbor Model’. The same method that helped Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee get his Lok Sabha seat. We demand immediate re-election in all the affected booths of Falta where such incidents have taken place.”

Let us inform you that BJP has fielded Debanshu Panda as its candidate from Falta Assembly seat of Diamond Harbour, while TMC’s candidate from this constituency is Jahangir Khan.

Jahangir Khan recently came into discussion regarding the dispute with Election Commission Police Observer Ajay Pal Sharma. Ajay Pal Sharma had asked Jahangir’s families to follow the law in a strict tone. “They (TMC candidates) should improve their behaviour, otherwise they will have to face consequences later,” the official said. After this, TMC candidate Jahangir retorted and said that he is not afraid.
