Trump said that Putin has expressed his desire to join the ongoing talks with Iran regarding the nuclear treaty.

According to Trump, Putin reiterated his offer to involve Russia as a mediator on the issue of Iran’s approximately 970 pounds (about 440 kilograms) of uranium reserves. He also said that Putin wants to help in negotiations related to Iran’s nuclear enrichment. To this, Trump replied that his priority is to end the ongoing war in Ukraine and he wants Russia to play an active role in it.

Declaration of ceasefire on the occasion of Victory Day

Donald Trump said that, in this conversation that lasted about one and a half hour, Putin indicated that he was ready to declare a ceasefire on the occasion of Victory Day, which he supported. However, no official statement has yet come out from Russia regarding whether Putin has really talked to Trump about declaring a ceasefire or not.

According to the information, during his conversation with Trump, Putin warned that if America and Israel take military action again in the Middle East, it could have serious and disastrous consequences. Russia is considered a strategic partner of Iran. Israel and America had many times alleged regarding the war with Iran that Russia and China were helping Tehran to target American military bases.
