Material
Ripe Bael fruit – 1 big
Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Method
- Break the vine and take out its pulp. Separate the seeds and mash the pulp well.
- Put pulp and water in a pan and cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes, so that it becomes soft and smooth.
- Now add sugar in it and keep stirring continuously. The mixture will start thickening. When the jam becomes thick, add lemon juice and cardamom powder to it. It enhances taste and aroma.
- When the mixture starts leaving the pan (becomes jam-like texture), then turn off the gas. After it cools down, fill it in a clean and dry glass jar.

If kept in the refrigerator, it remains safe for 2-3 months. Always use dry spoon. Keep in an airtight container.
