Nepal Airlines apologizes to India: Jammu and Kashmir was shown as part of Pakistan in its ‘network map’

Kathmandu. Nepal Airlines on Thursday apologized for cartographic errors in the wake of controversy after a “network map” showed Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan.

Due to the protest, the airline had deleted the social media post on Wednesday. “We apologize for the error in the ‘network map’ recently shared on our social media channels,” the airline posted on X.

“This map contained significant cartographic errors with respect to international boundaries, which do not reflect the official position of Nepal or Nepal Airlines.”

“We immediately removed the post and are conducting an internal review to ensure our content meets the highest standards of accuracy,” according to the airline.

“We greatly value our strong relations with our neighbors and friends in the region and apologize for any offense this post may have caused them,” Nepal Airlines said.
