Orgy of death in Iran! UN report reveals, 21 people were given painful hanging
The spark of war between Iran and Western countries (America-Israel) had not yet subsided when a news from Tehran has given goosebumps to the entire world. According to the latest and extremely shocking report of the United Nations (UN), amid the recent conflict and tension, Iran has hastily hanged 21 people.
The situation in the Middle East has deteriorated to such an extent that Iran is no longer ready to listen to anyone. Citing security, the administration has not only given death sentence but has also put more than 4,000 citizens behind bars. All efforts to reduce tension are proving unsuccessful because at present Iran has clearly refused to sit at the table of any kind of peace talks.
Why were 21 people given death sentence?
The reports of Al Jazeera and UN have revealed the dark truth behind these punishments. It is being told that out of the 21 people who were hanged, 9 were part of the anti-government protests that took place in January 2026. Additionally, 10 people were accused of colluding with opposition groups, while 2 people were put to death for espionage. While on one hand the Iranian government is calling these strict measures essential for ‘national security’, on the other hand international human rights organizations are calling it a cruel repression that suppresses the voice of the people.
Inhuman treatment in jails and 4000 arrests
Under the shadow of war, Iran’s police and security agencies are making arrests without fear. According to reports, more than 4,000 people have been detained so far. The story inside the prisons is even scarier. The UN claims that the prisoners are being tortured mentally and physically and torture is being used to force them to confess to crimes. Many families are wandering in search of their loved ones as dozens of people are missing after being jailed.
United Nations blunt warning to Iran
Human rights chief Volker Turk has expressed deep concern over these conditions in Iran and has called it against humanity. He said that such cruelty on the people suffering from war cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. The UN has demanded Iran to immediately stop these executions and release those who have been arrested without any solid basis. He stressed that fair legal process must be followed before punishing anyone.
Insistence to confront America and worsening situation
Iran’s stance has become even tougher since the US and Israel took joint military action in late February. Despite strict warnings from America, Iran is not showing any signs of bowing down. The situation is that Iran has also rejected the proposed second round of talks for peace. If we look at the statistics, after China, Iran is becoming the country in the world where most executions are carried out. Due to this attitude, Iran seems to be completely isolated on the global stage.
