Jaydev Unadkat is an Indian cricketer who has played for the national team. He plays domestic cricket for Saurashtra cricket team and Sussex County Cricket Club.
He was part of India’s squad in the 2010 Under-19 World Cup and made his international debut in December 2010 against South Africa in Test cricket. Before that, he took 13 wickets on his first-class debut against West Indies Under-19s.
In March 2020, Unadkat became the first captain to lead Saurashtra to a Ranji Trophy title. He made his T20I debut in 2016 against Zimbabwe. In December 2022, he returned to the Test team after 12 years, playing against Bangladesh at Mirpur.

Jaydev Unadkat Personal Life
Jaydev Unadkat was born and raised in Porbandar, Gujarat, and studied at St. Mary’s School there. From a young age, he wanted to become a cricketer, but balancing studies and cricket was not easy. During that time, his sister helped him a lot.
His bond with his sister Dheera is very close. He has often shared photos and messages about her, calling her his biggest support. He has said that during tough times in his career, her support helped him stay confident. When he succeeds, she is one of the first to celebrate.
He once shared that when he was selected for India U-19, his sister told him to enjoy the moment and not worry about results. That advice stayed with him and helped him handle pressure better.
