Kohli has scored 8989 runs in 266 innings of 274 matches in IPL at an average of 39.95 and strike rate of 133.76. If he scores 11 runs against Delhi, he will become the first player to score 9000 runs in IPL.

Apart from this, he will become the first player in the world to score 9000 or more runs for a team in a T-20 franchise league. Kohli has so far scored 9413 runs in T-20 cricket for RCB. Out of which 424 runs have come in the Champions League.

450 sixes in T-20

Kohli has hit 447 sixes in 404 innings of 421 matches in T-20 cricket. If he is successful in hitting three sixes, he will become the second player from India and 21st in the world to hit 450 sixes in T-20 cricket. As an Indian, currently only Rohit Sharma has been able to do this.

Kohli’s performance so far in the ongoing IPL has been excellent and has been the most successful for RCB. He has scored 328 runs in seven innings at an average of 54.67 and strike rate of 163.18.
