It seemed that RCB is now making a comeback in the match, but in the meantime a controversial decision became a topic of discussion.

Controversy over catch, Kohli angry

Patidar tried to play a big shot in the over of Arshad Khan, who was bowling for Gujarat. The ball went towards deep backward square leg, where Jason Holder made a brilliant diving catch while running. However, while taking the catch, his hand was touching the ground, which raised doubts. The field umpire referred the matter to the third umpire and after watching the replays, Patidar was declared out. Virat Kohli, sitting in the dugout, looked very angry with this decision and also expressed his disagreement with the fourth umpire.
