Exit Poll: Signs of ‘lotus’ blooming for the third time in Assam, estimates of getting this many seats

Today’s Chanakya’s exit poll has come out regarding the recently concluded assembly elections in the north-eastern state of Assam. In this exit poll, once again the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition government seems to be formed in Assam.

In today’s Chanakya exit poll, the BJP alliance is expected to get 102 to 111 seats. At the same time, about 23 to 32 seats can come to the account of Congress alliance. Along with this, others are also expected to get one to two seats.

If we talk about vote percentage, then in the exit poll the BJP alliance is said to get 50 to 53 percent votes. With this, Congress alliance can get 38 to 41 percent seats. At the same time, 12 to 15 percent votes may go to others’ account.

At the same time, in Shining India’s survey, BJP is expected to get 88 plus seats out of 126. Congress is expected to get around 31 seats, UDF around 4, and others 3 seats. Close contest has been reported on 19 seats.

According to Shining India’s survey, if we talk about vote percentage, BJP can get 45.8 percent. At the same time, Congress may get 37.5 percent votes, UDF 3.6 percent, and others may get 8.9 percent votes, while 4.2 percent votes have been declared silent.

Let us tell you that on April 9, voting was held in one phase on 126 seats in Assam. People participated enthusiastically in the elections, and the voting percentage was recorded at 85.38. However, the Congress termed the huge turnout in the state as a change and indicated victory.

If we talk about the results of the last assembly elections 2021, the Bharatiya Janata Party had won 60 out of 126 seats. Whereas, Congress had won 29 seats. In this way, the BJP led alliance got a total of 76 seats, while the Congress led alliance got 49 seats. The magic figure of majority in the state is 64.

These data related to Assam Assembly elections are based only on survey and estimation and have nothing to do with the election results. The election results will be declared on May 4, only after which the picture will be clear.
