In this film, Salman Khan is seen in the role of ‘Jiiva Mahala’. Jiva Mahala was the same brave warrior who saved the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the historic battle of Pratapgarh. When Syed Banda attacked Shivaji Maharaj, Jiva Mahala saved him with her bravery. After this incident, a famous saying was created, “There was Jiva, hence Shiva was saved.”
Interestingly, Salman Khan himself had expressed his desire to Riteish Deshmukh to play this character. According to reports, Ritesh had no such plan earlier, but Salman showed special interest in doing this role.
