Questions raised on Abbas Arakchi
Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf are reportedly dissatisfied with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi’s conduct of diplomacy and negotiations, and are demanding his removal from office. Sources claim that both leaders believe that Arakchi is working more as an aide to Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander Ahmed Wahidi rather than as a foreign minister responsible for implementing government policies.
