Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly, Pratap Singh Bajwa has written a letter to the Speaker of Punjab Assembly demanding compulsory alco-meter and dope test of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and all the MLAs. In fact, Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira alleged that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann came to the assembly in an intoxicated state. Regarding this, Leader of Opposition Bajwa requested the medical team of PGIMER to conduct an investigation and warned that until the Chief Minister proves himself innocent, the Congress MLAs will not participate in the proceedings of the House. He told the Assembly Speaker that all the MLAs are present here, no one should be allowed to go out and everyone should have an alco-meter test.

In fact, a special session of the Punjab Assembly was called today in which the atmosphere became heated when Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa raised the demand for an alcometer test of all the MLAs including the CM. On this demand of the Leader of Opposition, Aam Aadmi Party MLAs started creating ruckus in the House. During this period, heated exchanges were also seen between Congress and AAP MLAs. Later Congress MLAs walked out of the assembly. Not only this, Congress MLAs also raised slogans of ‘Down with the drunken Chief Minister’. On the other hand, Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, who recently left the Aam Aadmi Party and joined BJP, has posted a video of Bhagwant Mann inside the Assembly on her X account.
