About 2500 new Patwaris will get appointment in the state in the next 4 days. The Directorate of Land Records had recently asked all the Patwaris for names of 5 districts of their choice for posting. Along with this, Patwaris were asked options for posting in a total of 7 departments including the Revenue Department. The new Patwaris have put the details related to the option on the departmental portal.
Patwaris were asked the option of posting in Revenue Department, Consolidation of Holdings Department, Town and Country Planning, Forest Department, Municipal Corporation Gurugram, Haryana Urban Development Authority, Urban Local Bodies Department and Public Works Department. After the deployment of new Patwaris, the number of Patwar circles in the state will be increased from 2691 to 5077.
Director of Land Records Dr. Yashpal said that the vacant posts will be filled first. 1500 Patwaris will be deployed for most ownership/Lal Dora related works.
