In this ICC tournament to be hosted by England, the command of Team India has been handed over to Harmanpreet Kaur, while Smriti Mandhana has been appointed as the vice-captain. Apart from this, Harleen Deol has not got a place in the T20 team. Bharti Phulmali has been included in the team in her place. The selectors believe that Phulmali is a better option than Harleen in T20 cricket.
