‘My life is difficult, I am being harassed a lot’, the last call of the judge who committed suicide

Karkardooma Court judge Aman Kumar Sharma (30) committed suicide by hanging himself in Safdarjung, Delhi. Aman’s sister’s father-in-law revealed in detail what had happened in the house before the murder. Domestic dispute is being said to be the reason behind the suicide. Aman had called his father on Friday night. In this he said that he was being harassed for two months. That night he had a fight with his wife Swati. Aman was upset with the interference of Swati’s IAS sister Nidhi Malik in the house. Nidhi Malik is currently posted in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Aman’s sister’s father-in-law told that when he talked to his son on phone, he got information about the incident. The son told that Aman has been taken to Safdarjung Hospital. By the time he reached the hospital, the doctors had declared him dead. He further said that after the incident I talked to my Samadhi Saheb. His condition was not good. He was crying a lot.

‘I am very upset’

Sister’s father-in-law referred to Aman’s father’s statement given to the police and told that Aman called his father at around 10 pm. In this Aman said that I am very worried. My life has become difficult. The father explained to Aman and left Alwar at 10 pm. Reached here around 12 o’clock at night.

‘Aman was having a fight with his wife’

Sister’s father-in-law further told that on reaching here the father came to know that he (Aman) was having a fight with his wife. Aman told his father that he was being harassed a lot for the last two months. He further told that Aman’s wife Swati is also a judicial officer. His sister Nidhi Malik is an IAS officer. He is currently posted in Jammu. According to Aman, Nidhi Malik had a lot of interference in the house. She does all the control here. The father tried to convince both of them.

 

 

 

‘I will get you locked up’

Aman’s father told his daughter’s father-in-law, ‘The daughter-in-law told him that if you do not leave from here, she will call the police. I will get you locked up. However, we stayed here for the night and tried to contact the daughter-in-law’s parents in the morning. But they blocked his phone. Later contacted uncle. He came here, but he got a message. After this he also left.

 

Based on the father’s statement, Aman’s sister’s father-in-law said, ‘Swati was very angry. Aman was crying. After some time the sound stopped coming from the room. They felt that perhaps a reconciliation agreement had been reached. But after some time the father asked the daughter-in-law Swati where Aman was and she said that I don’t know where he is?

Dead body found hanging in the bathroom

He further said, ‘Later when the father called on Aman’s mobile, a bell rang in the bathroom of the room. Father asked to open the door. Meanwhile Nidhi Malik and uncle Yudhveer reached there. Many attempts were made to open the door. But it did not open. When guard Shankar broke the window and reached inside the bathroom, he saw that Aman was hanging himself with Swati’s chunni. He was taken down and taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared Aman dead.
