Another 6 lane road will be built in UP, good news for these districts
Lucknow. Work is going to start on a big project to further improve the road network in Uttar Pradesh. This 6 lane national highway proposed from Mustafabad to Bahraich via Kaiserganj will play an important role in the development of the area. This 101 kilometer long highway will not only make travel easier, but will also give new impetus to trade and tourism.
This highway will be built at a cost of thousands of crores
The total cost of this project is estimated to be around Rs 7 thousand crores. In this, along with construction work, a huge amount will also be spent on land acquisition. The government aims to complete this highway with modern facilities within the stipulated time.
Which districts will benefit from the road
The construction of this road will directly benefit the people of areas like Barabanki, Kaiserganj and Bahraich. Travel time between these areas will be reduced and traffic will become more convenient.
Challenge on environment and alignment
The biggest challenge facing the project is related to the forest area. Some protected forest areas and thousands of trees may be affected in the proposed route. Discussion is going on between the concerned departments regarding this. However, the government has also planned to plant trees on a large scale in place of trees.
Preparation for compensation and rehabilitation
Keeping in mind the land acquisition and environmental damage, the system for giving compensation is also being decided. Emphasis will be laid on additional planting of trees and other measures to maintain balance in the affected areas.
When will the highway be ready?
According to the Road Transport Department, the target has been set to complete this highway by October 2027. However, this may take some time due to various approvals and technical processes.
