Lucknow Rajdhani, 02 May, 2026 Due to the sudden demise of Dr. Amar Kant Singh, former District School Inspector, Lucknow and currently District Inspector, Gorakhpur, in Medanta Hospital, Lucknow today, the protest was postponed after the condolence meeting organized at the District School Office on May 2, 2026. After receiving information about the demise of Dr. Amarkant Singh at the protest site from Joint Education Director, Lucknow Division, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, on behalf of the district organization, Regional Vice President and spokesperson Dr. R.P. Mishra, General Secretary Narendra Kumar Verma, State Minister Dr. R.K. Trivedi, District President Anil Sharma, District Minister Mahesh Chandra reached Medanta Hospital and paid tribute to Dr. Amarkant Singh. When the officials from Medanta Hospital reached the protest site at the District School Inspector’s office at around 2:30 pm, a condolence meeting was held and after that the protest was postponed. Dr. R.P. Mishra Regional Vice President/Spokesperson and Patron Lucknow, Dr. R.K. Trivedi State Minister, Anil Sharma District President, Mahesh Chandra District Minister, R.P. Singh, Treasurer Alok Pathak, Income-Expenditure Inspector, Dr. Meeta Srivastava-Member State Executive etc. were present.
