In order to further strengthen the law and order in Shukul Bazar police station area of Amethi district and to establish security confidence among the common citizens, Police Station Chief Vivek Verma along with heavy police force carried out extensive foot patrolling in the town and surrounding major areas. During this period, the police team inspected markets, crowded places, banks, bullion markets and major intersections and kept a special eye on suspicious activities. During the foot patrolling, police station chief Vivek Verma interacted with traders, shopkeepers and local citizens and listened to their problems and also gave necessary suggestions related to security.
Appealing to the people, he said that they should cooperate with the police in maintaining peace, harmony and law and order in the area and should immediately inform the police about any suspicious person or activity. During the patrolling, intensive checking of vehicles was also done by the police personnel. Strict warnings were given to two-wheeler drivers riding without helmets, suspicious persons and those violating rules. People roaming unnecessarily in public places were interrogated and made aware of traffic rules and social responsibilities.
Police station chief Vivek Verma said that the safety of the general public is the top priority of the police. To maintain effective control over crime and anti-social elements, continuous foot patrolling, vehicle checking and monitoring campaigns are being conducted in the police station area. He made it clear that strict action will be taken against elements trying to disturb law and order and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.

Praising the police station chief Vivek Verma and the police team, the local people said that regular foot patrolling strengthens the sense of security among the people and the fear of the police remains among the criminals.
