In this old video going viral, veteran actress Waheeda Rehman is seen asking an interesting question to Lara Dutta. She asks him if it is difficult to be a beautiful person.

While answering this question, Lara Dutta expressed her views with great confidence. He said, “The real beauty lies within a person. If a person has confidence in himself, believes in his dreams and has the courage to face the difficulties of life, then that is the real beauty. The person who is strong from within and works hard to achieve his goal is called truly beautiful.”

He said, “Self-confidence, hard work and positive thinking make a person special. If a person has the will to win and does not give up even in difficult situations, then these are the things that make him different from others. When a person is good and strong from within, then being beautiful does not seem difficult.”

This answer of Lara Dutta was much discussed at that time. Actually, she won the title of Miss Universe on 12 May 2000. He impressed the judges with his confidence, intelligence and brilliant answers.

Lara Dutta’s victory was considered very special for India. She became the second Indian woman after Sushmita Sen to win the title of Miss Universe.
