Patna Jewelery Robbery VIDEO: The audacity of criminals is not showing any signs of decreasing in Patna, the capital of Bihar. On Sunday afternoon, five armed criminals targeted Shri Lakshmi Alankar Jewelers in Dhanji Colony of Ramakrishna Nagar police station area. This incident has once again raised serious questions on the security system of the city.
It was afternoon when five masked criminals riding on two bikes stopped outside the shop. As per the plan, three miscreants entered the shop wearing helmets. During this time, two miscreants remained outside and kept an eye on the situation.
Looters came in filmy style
Owner Dhananjay Kumar and three customers were present inside the shop at that time. As soon as the miscreants entered, they pointed their pistols and took everyone hostage in a corner. When Dhananjay Kumar tried to protest, the criminals attacked him on the head with the butt of the pistol, leaving him bleeding.

Cleared hands of jewelery worth lakhs
According to the shopkeeper, the criminals broke the showcase and started collecting the jewellery. In this incident of robbery, about 100 grams of gold jewelery was taken. About 3 kg of silver jewellery. The total estimated market value is said to be Rs 15 to 20 lakh. After completing the work, the criminals fled from the spot, waving weapons and firing one round to spread panic.
What did the police say?
As soon as information about the incident was received, Patna’s Ramakrishna Nagar police station and Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer (SDPO) Ranjan Kumar reached the spot. Now the STF team is also helping the police in the investigation.

CCTV footage surfaced
Police are scanning the cameras installed in the shop and surrounding areas to identify the bike numbers and faces hidden behind the helmets. Under the leadership of City Superintendent of Police (East) Parichay Kumar, the entire area is being cordoned off and raids are being conducted. The statement of the injured shopkeeper has been recorded. At present, there is an atmosphere of panic in the area and the police are claiming to arrest the accused soon, although no concrete clue has been found so far.
