New Delhi. Famous lyricist, writer and advertising personality Prasoon Joshi has been appointed as the new Chairman of Prasar Bharti. In this regard, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting gave information by issuing an official press release.
Prasoon Joshi has been active in the world of Indian cinema and literature for a long time. On the basis of his writing and creative thinking, he has created a distinct identity in films, advertisements and literature. Many songs written by him are still on people’s lips.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav expressed happiness over the appointment of Prasun Joshi and said that his creative ability and connection with Indian culture make him suitable for this responsibility.
Vaishnav said that the fragrance of Indian soil and cultural depth is reflected in Joshi’s words. According to him, under the leadership of Prasoon Joshi, Prasar Bharati will move forward with new thinking, purpose and creative direction.
