Major organizational reshuffle in Delhi Congress, approval to appointment of Vice President-General Secretaries

Mallikarjun Kharge has approved new organizational changes in the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) with immediate effect. With this decision, an important step has been taken towards strengthening the party organization in the capital. Congress had announced a major reshuffle in the Delhi unit. Under this, new appointments of Vice Presidents and General Secretaries have been made. Besides, a 31-member committee has also been formed to conduct political matters. According to party sources, this change has been made with the aim of making the organization more active and electorally stronger. The new team has been entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the party’s hold by working at the grassroots level.

Congress General Secretary K.C. Two separate statements issued by Venugopal said that these appointments have been approved by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. According to the party, new appointments of vice presidents and general secretaries have been made in the Delhi unit. Along with this, a 31-member Political Affairs Committee has also been formed with the aim of making the organization more effective.

12 party leaders were nominated

The party has appointed 12 leaders as vice-presidents and 26 leaders as general secretaries, while a 31-member committee has also been formed for political matters. Leaders made vice president by the party include Surendra Kumar, Harishankar Gupta, Bhisham Sharma, C.P. Mittal, Kamalkant Sharma, Jagjivan Sharma, Abha Choudhary, Tasveer Solanki, Mudit Aggarwal, Laxman Rawat, Ali Mehndi and Abdul Hannan. Apart from this, Congress has assigned the responsibility of the post of General Secretary to 26 leaders, who will work at various levels of the organization and give impetus to the activities of the party.
