In the end, Naman Dhir and Will Jacques took the innings of Mumbai Indians across the threshold and led the team to victory. Naman Dheer hit a six on the last ball, which was the winning shot for Mumbai. With this, Mumbai won by 6 wickets with 8 balls remaining.

This is a shameful defeat for the Lucknow Super Giants team captained by Rishabh Pant. In the match played at Wankhede Stadium, Lucknow Super Giants team played brilliantly with the bat and scored 228 runs on the board. Nicholas Puran played a brilliant inning of 63 runs for LSG. Apart from them, Mitchell Marsh scored 44, Aiden Markham scored 31 and Himmat Singh scored 40 runs. But the bowlers spoiled the hard work of the batsmen and Lucknow lost by 6 wickets.
