President of Vietnam reached Lam Gayaji, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary welcomed him, called the visit ‘historic’
Gone sir. Vietnamese President To Lam started his three-day state visit to India from Gaya Ji in Bihar today on May 5. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary welcomed him in Gaya Ji. Lam will leave for New Delhi after some time, where he will hold extensive talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday and will also meet President Draupadi Murmu.
“The spiritual, cultural and heritage city of Gaya warmly welcomes the arrival of the Honorable President of Vietnam. This historic visit will take the already strong India-Vietnam relations to new heights,” Chaudhary said in his post on social media platform ‘X’.
It is noteworthy that this is Lam’s first state visit to India after assuming the presidency last month. The visit is taking place on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the ‘Comprehensive Strategic Partnership’ between the two countries. President Lam started his visit from Gayaji in Bihar on May 5, where he offered prayers at the Mahabodhi Temple.
