Disha herself had to perform this entire scene underwater, which was a new and challenging experience for her.
Shot without oxygen mask
The actress told in an interview given to Zoom that the special thing about this scene was that it was shot without an oxygen mask. He said that for this a special team was present, which trained him to perform underwater. This scene was shot for about 12 hours, for this he had to go under water again and again to perfect the scene. Disha told about her experience that acting while underwater was not easy, because on one hand she had to hold her breath and on the other hand she also had to show the character’s expressions.
The scene was completed with training and courage.
She further told that when she was cast for this film, she was asked if she knew how to swim. However, at that time he had no idea that this scene would be so intense and difficult. In this interview he told that he had taken special underwater training for this scene. And also practiced for a long time for this. During the shooting on the set, there was artificial rain all the time, due to which the situation became even more challenging. He said that both the underwater shoot and the rain outside had made this experience more challenging.

During this conversation, Disha also shared an interesting thing. He told that he was given the option of body double to do this scene, but he decided to do this scene himself. Director Ritesh Deshmukh had also asked her whether she could jump into a well from a height of 10 to 12 feet. The team assured him of complete safety, after which he decided to do this scene himself. He says that when he gets the trust of the director, even difficult scenes start looking easy.
