Make Curd Gram Flour Gatte Ki Sabzi for the guests, everyone will be licking their fingers
Gatte Ki Sabzi is made especially when there are less green vegetables in the house. The gravy of curd and the tempering of spices makes it even more special. Let us know the easy way to make this traditional Rajasthani dish, which will make your food even more delicious.
for Gatte
- Gram flour – 1 cup
- Curd – 2 tbsp
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
- Celery – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – as per taste
- Oil – 1 tbsp
for gravy
- Curd – 1 cup
- Gram flour – 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt – as per taste
How to make gram flour gatta curry
To make tasty dish of gram flour gatte, first of all add gram flour, curd, spices and oil in a bowl and knead a stiff dough. Now make long rolls from it and cook in boiling water for 8-10 minutes. After cooking, take them out and cut them into small pieces.
Beat curd and gram flour well in a bowl, so that there are no lumps in it. Now heat oil in a pan and add cumin and asafoetida and temper it. After this add turmeric, coriander powder and red chilli and fry lightly.
Now add curd-gram flour mixture in the pan and keep stirring continuously, so that the curd does not curdle. Cook it on low flame until the gravy becomes thick. Now add the chopped gattas to the gravy and cook for 5-7 minutes, so that the gattas absorb the spices properly. Finally add garam masala and turn off the gas.
Garnish the prepared Gatte curry with green coriander and serve it hot with roti or rice. This vegetable can be prepared and served on special occasions. Guests may be forced to lick their fingers after eating it.
