IPL 2026 LSG vs RCB Playing 11: Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants will square off against Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 50th match of the IPL 2026 on May 07 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru had an impressive campaign with 6 wins out of 9 games, while Lucknow Super Giants have only 2 wins out of 9 games.
RCB are in the top four of the IPL 2026 points table and will be aiming for a win in the upcoming clash to strengthen their qualification chances.
Meanwhile Lucknow Super Giants will be aiming for a win to make a momentum in their campaign.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and opted to bowl. Speaking at the toss, RCB Captain Rajat Patidar said, “We love the way the crowd comes and keeps supporting us, no matter where we are.
“We will bowl first. At first, it looks pretty hard surface. It’s black soil pitch. Last four or five matches, it was low score.”
“That was a good break. Everyone is looking in a good frame of mind. We have come back after 7-8 days of hard recovery. We are looking forward to this game.”
“We are playing with the same team,” concluded Rajat Patidar.

LSG captain Rishabh Pant said, “We have few injuries in our team. Angkrish comes in for Inglis, he’s a little injured. Mohsin is also a little injured. Shahbaz comes in for Sid.”
“See the only thing is moving with more clarity. We know we are the top players but sometimes when clarity is missing, it can happen in cricket. Most of the times, there is talk about clarity. There are few changes in the batting order, hopefully we can figure it out and take it in the next season,” concluded Rishabh Pant.
