After Riyan Parag, now video of Chahal smoking e-cigarette in flight goes viral
IPL 2026: Amidst IPL 2026, Punjab Kings’ star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has come into the news for a viral video. In this video which is going viral on social media, it is being claimed that Chahal was seen using e-cigarette inside the flight. It is being told that this video is of the team flight going from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad. In the video, Arshdeep is seen talking to the players and making reels. However, till now no official statement has come from Chahal, Arshdeep, Punjab Kings or IPL on this matter.

In the video, the team players are seen talking to each other. Meanwhile, claims of vaping started being made on social media regarding Chahal on camera. On Wednesday, Punjab Kings faced Sunrisers Hyderabad, in which the team lost by 33 runs.

Earlier, Riyan Parag has also been embroiled in a similar controversy. Rajasthan Royals captain Parag was allegedly caught on camera vaping in the dressing room during the match. After this, BCCI fined him 25 percent of the match fee and one demerit point was also added. Smoking and use of e-cigarettes inside flights is completely banned in India. This is the reason that after the video surfaced, the matter quickly came into discussion.
The Indian government had banned e-cigarettes in the year 2019. If found guilty for the first time under the law, the punishment can be up to one year in jail or a fine of up to Rs 1 lakh. According to the E-Cigarette Prohibition Act 2019, the production, sale, import, export, transportation and promotion of e-cigarettes is banned in the country.
