CM Samrat’s strict order: New monitoring system implemented

Patna. Bihar government has taken a big step to increase transparency and work speed in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. On the instructions of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, the revenue works going on in all the areas of the state will now be monitored and reviewed daily at the departmental level.

Review will be done every day through video conferencing

Under the new system, now departmental secretaries or authorized senior officers will review the progress of the work of the zones daily through video conferencing. Its objective is to speed up the work being done at the ground level and prevent any kind of delay or irregularity.

There will be thorough investigation of two zones daily

As per the instructions, two circles will be selected every day, where a detailed review of the ongoing revenue works will be done. In this, presence of zonal officer and revenue officer will be mandatory. A review meeting will be held daily from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm, in which information about work progress and pending cases will be taken.

Emphasis on speed and transparency in survey work

The Revenue and Land Reforms Department has laid emphasis on completing the special survey works on time and in a quality manner. Clear instructions have been given to the newly appointed settlement officers to complete the work within the stipulated time.

Technical efficiency and accountability are necessary

The Departmental Secretary said that this entire campaign is not just an administrative process, but its objective is to update the land records and to provide accurate and transparent land records to the general public. He told the officials that along with technical efficiency in the works, accountability should also be ensured.
