IA SPIRIT Strategic Partnership: The eyes of the world are once again fixed on India because after a long gap, the stage of India-Africa Summit-4 is going to be set in Delhi. In the last ten years, the political, energy and strategic situations of the world have become very uneasy and in such a situation this global conference assumes great importance.

With the support of the African Union, it has been ensured that all 54 countries of Africa are part of this meeting so that no one is left behind. Mahamilan to be held after a long wait of ten years

The theme of this conference is ‘India Africa Strategic Partnership for Innovation, Resilience, and Inclusive Transformation’ (IA SPIRIT). An official of the Ministry of External Affairs said that its main goal is to strengthen a long-term, non-exploitative partnership based on shared history and respect.

The importance that India gives to African countries can be gauged from the fact that India has offered a credit line package of $25 billion for the next 5 years. Which will focus on infrastructure, health, education and agriculture projects. India seeks support of African countries for reforms and veto in the UN Security Council. It also wants to strengthen the voice of the Global South (third world countries or developing countries).

Big target of two hundred billion dollar trade

This huge amount will be spent on important projects like health, education, agriculture and roads so that the lives of the people there can be better.

In recent times, due to the war in West Asia, energy crisis has arisen all over the world. In view of this, India wants to make long-term energy agreements with Africa for oil, gas, and important minerals. Apart from this, India also wants to increase cooperation with African countries in the field of counter-terrorism, cyber security and maritime cooperation.
