America Expensive Trip: An Indian woman has started a discussion on social media regarding the huge expenses incurred during her trip to America. While sharing the video on Instagram, a woman named Aakriti Pandey said that for those who earn in rupees, traveling to America can feel very expensive and stressful.
He said that when every expense is converted into Indian rupees, the journey seems even more burdensome. According to the figure, one US dollar is approximately equal to 93 to 95 rupees, due to which even small things appear expensive.

Traveling to America is very expensive
Referring to transportation expenses in the video, he said that public transportation is limited in many places, especially when arriving at night, the cost of a taxi or cab increases a lot. He told that he had to spend $67 to reach the hotel or motel.
Talking about the prices of food and drinks, he said that even an ordinary coffee is available for three to four dollars, whereas in India one can get better quality coffee for this much money. Aakriti told that she and her companions wanted to eat dosa for breakfast, but the price of three dosas was 57 dollars i.e. about Rs 5,300.

Budget planning is important while traveling abroad
Aakriti also responded to those who advise not to convert expenses into rupees while traveling abroad. He said that how can a person who earns in rupees avoid thinking of his expenses in Indian currency.
He also said that traveling to America may be easier if there is company funding or sponsorship, but one feels financial pressure if one has to bear the expenses on one’s own. After the video went viral, many people on social media agreed with him, while some users said that budget planning is necessary while traveling abroad.
