New films have a weak start at the box office

‘Krishnavataram – Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam)’, which is based on the legend of Lord Krishna, was released on Friday. The film had a slow start at the box office, earning Rs 1.15 crore on its first day. Apart from this, it got Rs 42 lakh from paid previews. Thus, the total collection of the film now stands at Rs 1.57 crore.

Neetu Kapoor and Kapil Sharma’s film ‘Dadi Ki Shaadi’ also hit the theaters on Friday. Its collection on the first day was Rs 60 lakh, which is the total domestic collection till date. Globally, the film has grossed Rs 72 lakh. It is a family drama.
Earnings of ‘Raja Shivaji’
Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s film ‘Raja Shivaji’ earned Rs 3.20 crore on Friday. It grossed Rs 4 crore on the seventh day of release. Now its total collection has reached Rs 55.85 crore. Stars like Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Vidya Balan are also included in this film.
‘Ek Din’ collection
Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s film ‘Ek Din’ earned only Rs 5 lakh on Friday. It’s only been a week since its release, and it’s almost out of the box office race. On the seventh day it had earned Rs 21 lakh. The total collection of the film is now Rs 4 crore.
Bhoot Bungalow and Dhurandhar 2
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ collected Rs 1.75 crore on Friday. Even on Thursday it had earned Rs 1.75 crore. Thus, the total collection of the film in 22 days has reached Rs 151.75 crore.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ also earned Rs 42 lakh at the box office on Friday. Its total domestic box office collection now stands at Rs 1,141.09 crore.
