Mumbai, Mumbai: Romantic thriller series ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ is all set to return with its second season on Jio Hotstar from June 12. The makers have released the teaser of the show. Starring Sanchita Basu and Dhaval Thakur in the lead roles, the second season “moves beyond love and heartbreak to a world where power, politics and personal history collide. As equations shift and loyalties blur, every relationship comes with a price,” as stated in a press note.
JioHotstar shared the teaser on its Instagram handle on Monday. Sanchita Basu shared details about her character in Season 2, calling it “powerful and emotional”.
“Shaanvika is at the center of Kuldeep’s story, and this season of ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ brings out her strength and fighting spirit in ways that are both powerful and emotional. The relationship between Kuldeep and Shanvika is layered, deep, and a core part of the story. This time, viewers will get to see an even darker side to their bond,” Sanchita Basu said in the press note.
Dhawal Thakur, who returns to play the role of Kuldeep Kumar, shares, “Kuldeep is a man full of contradictions—strong yet vulnerable, noble yet flawed. This season of ‘Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar’ delves deeper into his emotional core. It’s not just about the battles he fights on the outside, but also the battles he fights within himself.
