If guests are coming home or you want to give something fun to your children in school, then you can make semolina cutlets and eat them. Making this breakfast is very easy. This breakfast is ready in just 10 minutes. You can enjoy it with evening tea. So without any delay, note down the recipe.
Spicy Semolina Potato Snack, Semolina Roll Recipe
First step- To make breakfast, you have to take 2 medium sized boiled potatoes. Grate the potatoes. Will add some spices to the potatoes. In which add one-fourth teaspoon red chili powder, half teaspoon coriander powder, one-fourth teaspoon turmeric powder, one-fourth teaspoon garam masala powder, one-fourth teaspoon black pepper powder, finely chopped coriander, salt as per taste and one teaspoon lemon juice. You can also add chaat masala and mango powder to taste.
Second step- Now add 1 teaspoon oil in a pan or wok. For flavor, lightly crush a quarter spoon of whole coriander, add a pinch of asafoetida, a little cumin, 1 finely chopped green chilli, 2 grated garlic cloves, 1 inch grated ginger and 5-6 finely chopped curry leaves, 1 finely chopped onion.
Third Step- Now mix spicy potatoes in it and fry it for 2-3 minutes. Now turn off the gas and let the potato masala cool down. Now add half a cup of semolina in the pan and fry it on low flame. Now add twice as much water as the semolina and let the semolina swell. Add one-fourth spoon of celery and salt in semolina. Cook the semolina on medium low flame. Now let the semolina mix cool for 2 minutes. Now apply oil on your hands and mix it like dough.
Fourth step- Take the semolina ball and make it bigger with your hands. Now place 1 spoon of potato stuffing in it and close it in a roll or cutlet like shape. All the rolls are to be made in the same manner. Now add 2 spoons of wheat flour, some coriander leaves and chili flakes in a bowl. Add some white sesame seeds and 2 pinches of salt and mix. Now add one-fourth cup of water to it and make a thin slurry.
Fifth step- Dip the semolina roll in it and heat oil in the pan. Fry all the rolls until they become crispy brown. All the semolina rolls are ready. You serve them hot with sauce or chutney.
