Youth from Prayagraj murdered in Saudi Arabia, Bangladeshi man accused

Prayagraj. A young man from Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh has been beaten to death with a brick by a Bangladeshi boy in Saudi Arabia after a dispute. Akash Saroj (23) of Prayagraj had gone to Abu-Slasa in Saudi Arabia to earn money in January this year. He used to work as a goat herder in Al-Ahsa oasis city, and a Bangladeshi youth lived in the room with him.

It is alleged that after the dispute, the Bangladeshi youth killed him by hitting him with a brick and stone. According to the brother of the deceased, news of Akash’s murder was received on the afternoon of May 9. However, the accused Bangladeshi youth has been arrested by the Saudi police in Saudi Arabia. The deceased was a resident of Dalipur village of Sikandra town of Bahria police station area of ​​Prayagraj. The deceased’s father Gulab Saroj works as a laborer.

Akash was the third among four brothers and had studied till Intermediate. He had gone to Saudi Arabia to relieve the family’s poverty, but due to Akash’s murder, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the family. The family members have demanded the government administration and local leaders to bring Akash’s body to India. The family members have also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
