Thalapathy Vijay becomes CM, big announcement of 200 units free electricity and women security force

Tamil Nadu superstar and TVK chief Thalapathy Vijay has taken oath as the Chief Minister. As soon as he took oath, he took the first major decisions of his government. He signed the file giving 200 units of free electricity. Besides, the file for creating a special security force was also signed to strengthen the security of women. After the swearing-in ceremony, Vijay said that he does not come from any royal family or royal dynasty. Still the public loved him and made him the Chief Minister. He said that it is the public trust that has brought him to this position.

After taking the oath, Vijay said in a very filmy and enthusiastic manner, ‘I know what hunger is? I am one of you, I am like your brother and son. You consider me your own, that’s why you made me a superstar. I thank you. He further said, ‘I will not make false promises. You called me – ‘You come, we will take care of you. There were many difficulties in this journey, people made fun of me, but I did not stop. That is why I am taking oath here today. Vijay clearly said, ‘I am not a messenger of God, I am a common man. I will promise only that which I can fulfill. He also assured the people, ‘Crores of people are with us, we will do whatever is possible. We will not force what is impossible.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated Thalapathy Vijay on becoming the Chief Minister. PM Modi said that the Central Government will continue to cooperate fully with the State Government to improve the standard of living of the people of Tamil Nadu.

As soon as he took oath as Chief Minister, Vijay announced three major decisions from the stage. These include:

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief C. Joseph Vijay said, ‘From today I will start taking strict steps to stop drug abuse. It is our duty to protect the youth from this. Also, I will ensure law and order and guarantee everyone’s safety. Even if some people insult me, whether they are friends or enemies, all 8 crore people are my own. My heart says that I should pay full attention to education, roads, drinking water facilities and other essential services. As I said earlier, I will not touch even a single penny of public money…’

The Chief Minister says, ‘After reviewing all the aspects, I intend to release a white paper for the public. I want my government to be transparent. This is my first priority. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, if I have to meet someone, I will not meet secretly or behind closed doors. Whatever I do, I will do it openly and transparently. All of you are requested to give me some time. I will gradually fulfill all my promises and make sincere efforts to implement them. This is your government. I will ensure the safety of women…’

Shortly after taking oath, Vijay ji gave his first address to his party workers and people at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. He said, ‘Now a new era of real secularism and social justice has begun.’ He clearly said that there will be no other center of power in his government, he himself will be the only center of power and will take all the responsibilities himself.

‘Treasury emptied before leaving office’

Not only this, Chief Minister Vijay criticized DMK’s debt of Rs 10 lakh crore and promised transparent governance in Tamil Nadu. Vijay openly thanked Congress, Viduthalai Chiruthigal Katchi (VCK), Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and all Left parties for their support in forming the government. He said that TVK government could be formed only with the cooperation of all these parties. The most interesting thing was that Vijay thanked the children the most. He said that children have played a big role in this big victory of TVK. The children explained to their parents and family members and convinced them to vote in favor of TVK.
