During a conversation in CSK’s podcast, when he was asked a question about captaincy, he clearly said that he has nothing like that in his mind at the moment. Sanju said that he has already captained a team, he already had the post of captaincy and now he wants to contribute only as a player in Chennai. He said that when a person moves to a new house, he should not go with demands, this is what I have learned, rather he should prove himself.
New story changed after trade
This season, Chennai included Sanju Samson in the team by trading him with Rajasthan Royals. In return, the team sent Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to Rajasthan. However, Karan could not play many matches this season due to injury.
Sanju’s start was not very special for Chennai, but later he made a strong comeback. He scored two centuries and played an important role in keeping the team in the race for the playoffs.
