The veteran pacer finished with outstanding figures of 4/23 from his four overs, once again showing why he has been one of the most consistent bowlers of the season. His spell helped RCB restrict Mumbai to 166/7 on a surface that offered uneven bounce and assistance for seamers. Bhuvneshwar struck in the opening over by dismissing Ryan Rickelton before returning to remove Rohit Sharma with a clever knuckleball.

He then sent back Suryakumar Yadav for a first-ball duck to leave MI in early trouble.
