Urvil Patel has now become the batsman to score the fastest half-century in IPL for Chennai Super Kings. He broke Suresh Raina’s 12-year-old record by completing his fifty in just 13 balls against Lucknow Super Giants. Earlier, Raina had scored a half-century in 16 balls against Punjab Kings at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on 30 May 2014. Urvil gave a great start to Chennai by hitting fours and sixes in his explosive innings and registered his name in IPL history.
