‘Tried to erase it, got erased itself’, to whom did CM Yogi tell on Sanatan?

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that foreign invaders tried to destroy India’s spiritual and cultural identity but failed. CM Yogi said that Sanatan resides in the consciousness of India and it cannot be erased.

Yogi Adityanath addressed the ‘Somnath Sankalp Mahotsav’ organized in Varanasi under ‘Somnath Swabhiman Parv’. He said that foreign invaders tried to destroy Sanatan but they could not break the soul of India.

From Mohammad Ghori to the Mughals, many foreign invaders tried to destroy our spiritual and cultural identity. Aurangzeb demolished the ancient temple of Baba Vishwanath and erected a structure symbolizing slavery here but he could not break the soul of India. They could not understand that the Eternal resides not only within the walls of temples but in the consciousness of India itself. India considers its soul eternal and immortal.

‘Tried to erase Sanatan, got erased myself’

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, ‘Those who tried to destroy Sanatan themselves turned to dust and today no one remembers those invaders, but Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Somnath Temple are carrying forward the story of India’s self-respect.’

‘There are some forces who have a problem with Sanatan’

Yogi Adityanath said, ‘Even today there exist forces which oppose the revival of India’s spiritual and cultural symbols. Without naming any political party or leader, the Chief Minister said that the same people who had opposed the reconstruction of the Somnath temple, later created obstacles in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

We know who were the people who created obstacles during the restoration program of Somnath Mahadev Temple. These were the same people who later repeatedly tried to obstruct the construction of Ram Temple and the resolution of this issue.

Adityanath told Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Whether it is the grand reconstruction and beautification of the Somnath temple in Saurashtra, the Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Kashi, the Mahakal Mahalok in Ujjain, or the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya; Many holy centers associated with the Sanatan tradition are moving forward on a new journey of development with new splendour.
