Suron’s journey started at the age of 4

Ravindra Jain was born in 1944 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. His father was a well-known Sanskrit scholar and Ayurvedacharya. Ravindra faced a lot of challenges due to being blind since birth, but his father had decided that he would never let his son feel this deficiency. From the young age of just 4 years, music education was arranged for Ravindra at home. After taking primary education from the Blind School of Aligarh, he started singing bhajans in temples. His passion for music took him to Kolkata, where he learned the nuances of classical music.

When Mumbai held its arms after rejection

It is said that the path to success is full of thorns. Same thing happened with Ravindra Jain. In his early days, he gave several auditions to radio stations, but was rejected. But destiny had something else in store. In the year 1969, his Kolkata guru brought him to Mumbai to make a film. However, his real identity was revealed in the 1972 film ‘merchant’ Made from. After this, in 1975, songs like ‘Gori Tera Gaon Bada Pyaara’ made him popular in every household. When ‘Ankhi Ke Jharokhon Se’ was released in 1978, he proved that his imagination as a writer and composer had no limits.
