After being active in Lok Sabha and Assembly politics for a long time, he was sent to Rajya Sabha in 2024. Now he has again reached the assembly after winning from Duliajan seat. Given his long political experience and strong hold in the organization, it is believed that he may get an important department in the new government.

Atul Bora is one of the prominent faces of Assam Gana Parishad. The political identity of Atul Bora, who started with student politics, was strengthened during the Assam movement. He has been active in regional politics for a long time and has been a cabinet minister in both the previous BJP-led governments. He is once again being included in the government by ally AGP.

Charan Boro has been given place by Bodoland People’s Front in the new government. Charan Boro has been elected MLA from Majabat seat for the third consecutive time.
