Gold-Silver Price 12 May: Today silver broke all records, know how much the rate increased in your city

Today i.e. on May 12, a sharp rise in the prices of gold and silver has been seen in both the Indian bullion market and futures market (MCX). There is excitement in gold and silver despite the slowdown in the stock market

The prices of gold and silver are skyrocketing on the spot market as well as on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Along with the retail market, investors’ interest in futures trading is also increasing.

As soon as the futures market opened this morning, signs of bullishness started appearing. At around 9:47 am, gold with expiry of June 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 1,53,953 per 10 grams on MCX, up by Rs 299. At the same time, silver broke all records today. The price of silver with expiry of July 3 jumped by Rs 3,514 to reach Rs 2,81,825 per kg.

What is the rate in Mumbai and Lucknow?

The shine of gold and silver has also increased in the country’s financial capital Mumbai. According to the data at 9:57 am, gold in Mumbai became costlier by Rs 370 to Rs 1,54,420 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of silver increased by Rs 4,000 per kg and it was trading at Rs 2,82,240.

Talking about Lucknow, the city of Nawabs, here too gold has increased by Rs 320 and is being sold at Rs 1,54,410 per 10 grams. Silver is also not lagging behind in Lucknow, here the price has crossed Rs 2,81,890 per kg with an increase of Rs 3,630.
