Search engine Google was suddenly down by thousands in India today. Due to the down time of the search engine, the users had to face many problems. Also, after searching information on Google, an error message was appearing on the screen. Many users on the social media platform had complained that they were facing difficulties in accessing the search engine. Outage tracking platform Downdetector had also received more than 3,300 complaints since 10:23 am IST.

Complaints made by users on Downdetector

About 57 percent of the complaints on Downdetector said that users are having trouble searching. 28 percent of users said that they are facing problems in loading content. About 11 percent of the users said that they are facing problems related to other websites. With search engine Google, many people have started reporting memes sharing on social media platform X. Screenshots of some of the problems faced while accessing Google have been shared by users on social media. The server appears to have encountered an internal error while processing the request. There has also been a big drop in the number of complaints reported on Downdetector since the initial outage, suggesting that the search company is back up and running.
