NEET-UG 2026’Cancel NTA along with NEET, there is some piercing sitting there’; Khan sir angry over paper leak
The country’s biggest medical entrance exam NEET-UG 2026 has now turned into one of the biggest education controversies in the country. Amid allegations of paper leak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) finally decided to cancel the examination on Tuesday. 22.79 lakh students had participated in this examination held on May 3, but now both the hard work and future of lakhs of students have come under question.
This entire matter has created a stir from political circles to the world of education. On one hand, the Central Government has handed over the investigation of the case to CBI, while on the other hand, famous teacher Khan sir raised very serious questions on NTA and even said that not only NEET but also NTA should be abolished. He claimed that paper leak on such a large scale cannot be the work of a small gang and very influential people could be behind it.
NTA admits mistake, exam will be held again
After the cancellation of NEET-UG 2026 exam, NTA DG Abhishek Singh admitted that there were irregularities in the exam. He said that the agency takes responsibility of the matter and the examination will be conducted again. He told that the new exam date will be announced within 6 to 8 days. According to NTA, the decision to cancel the examination was taken after getting the approval of the Government of India.
CBI investigation started, questions raised in front of Education Minister also
Considering the seriousness of the paper leak case, the Central Government has handed over the investigation to CBI. The agency has registered an FIR in this matter and started investigation. Whereas in Delhi, when the media asked questions on this issue to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, he left without answering. After this the opposition has also started raising questions on the government.
‘Such a big game is not for small people’
Famous teacher Khan sir gave a sharp reaction to this entire controversy and said that sending examination papers from one state to another cannot be within the power of a small criminal. He said that the paper is spread rapidly through Telegram and big WhatsApp groups and big people may be behind this entire network. Khan sir said that ‘in our view, not only NEET but also NTA should be abolished. We feel that there is something wrong within NTA itself. Someone sitting inside is influencing the entire system. Khan sir claimed that if a paper is sold for Rs 2 lakh and reaches lakhs of students, then this entire racket becomes a game worth crores of rupees.
He said that ‘if a paper is being sold for Rs 2 lakh and suppose the paper is sold to 1 lakh people, then those people become millionaires. They think no one will be able to catch them. There is no punishment, that is why these people are continuously moving forward. He further said that if this matter had not come to the notice of the students, people would have easily escaped after earning crores of rupees.
‘Investigation agencies remained asleep, children opened the whole game’
Khan sir also raised questions on the investigating agencies. He said that if the students had not raised their voice, perhaps the entire matter would have been suppressed. He said that the children are blessed that the matter has come to light, otherwise the investigating agencies would have remained asleep. Who knows how many times the paper has been leaked before? Khan sir termed the paper leak as an attack on the future of the country and demanded very strict punishment. He said that ‘until strict punishment is given, all this will not stop. In my view, the punishment for this crime should not be less than death penalty. One person dies in a murder, but a paper leak ruins the future of lakhs of students.
