Late night administrative reshuffle in Bihar, transfers of 12 IAS officers
Bihar government has made a major administrative reshuffle late last night. The government has transferred 12 senior IAS officers. In the notification issued by the General Administration Department, officers have been assigned new responsibilities in many important departments.

- Senior IAS officer of 1996 batch Anand Kishore has been relieved of the additional charge of Finance Department while retaining the post of Chairman, Bihar School Examination Committee, Patna.
- 1996 batch IAS H.R. Srinivas has been given the new responsibility of Social Welfare Department from Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department.
- 1997 batch officer Santosh Kumar Malla has been removed from the Water Resources Department and posted in the Disaster Management Department.
- 2003 batch IAS Lokesh Kumar Singh has been made the Secretary of Tourism Department from Health Department.
- 2004 batch officer Kundan Kumar has been relieved of additional charge while keeping him in the Industries Department.
- 2005 batch IAS Kumar Ravi has been given the responsibility of Secretary of the Health Department from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
- Ajay Yadav, an officer of 2005 batch, has been given new responsibility in the Energy Department from the Prohibition, Excise and Registration Department.
- 2007 batch IAS Sanjay Kumar Singh has been given the charge of the Finance Department along with the Commercial Tax Department.
- Pranav Kumar, a 2008 batch officer, has been posted to the Building Construction Department from the Art and Culture Department.
- 2009 batch IAS Manoj Kumar Singh has been removed from the Energy Department and made Local Commissioner, Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi.
- 2010 batch officer Chandrashekhar Singh has been given new responsibility in the Water Resources Department from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
- 2014 batch IAS Rajneesh Kumar Singh has been removed from the post of Registrar, Cooperation Committees and has been made Inspector General, Prison and Correctional Services.
